SpaceSwap and SIDUS HEROES: synergy enhancing development
Our dedicated community could not help but notice that the SpaceSwap / NFT STARS / SIDUS ecosystem has grown rapidly over the last few months. A lot of attention has recently been focused on the new project — the first blockchain-based, WebGL, play-to-earn game ‘SIDUS HEROES’. This expanding metaverse rightfully deserves this recognition. We are happy to see that many members of the SpaceSwap community have already joined the SIDUS project and started using the NFT STARS marketplace. We believe that the synergy between these three projects will give all of them the necessary impetus to reach their highest potential.
You are curious to know what the benefits are to placing SpaceSwap in one shared ecosystem with the SIDUS project, what prospects these two platforms have together and how we see their future development. Let us share our vision with you:
1.Cross-community exchange
At the beginning, it was the SpaceSwap users that formed the backbone of the SIDUS community and today, we are seeing the mirror opposite picture - many SIDUS users interested in the MILK2 coin’s applications are joining the project. We are seeing a special surge in interest connected to the upcoming SIDUS IDO, which will partially take place on the SpaceSwap Starter launchpad. We are sure that this cross-community exchange will continue and we’ll make every effort to support this free flow of users between the two projects.
2.Technical solution promo
The upcoming IDO of the SIDUS project on our launchpad has caused an increase in interest, not just from community members. Several projects have already contacted us to express their desire to hold their token sales on SpaceSwap Starter. In the future, a lot of features (like staking, resource extraction, etc.) will be implemented on the basis of SpaceSwap’s technical solutions; we plan to use the Shadow 2.0 technology, expand its logic, add various functions including the accrual of certain in-game resources. All these solutions will be widely recognized as the development of the SpaceSwap team, which will be excellent advertisement for us. We are already presently receiving a number of proposals for creating White Label products which, of course, will have a positive effect on SpaceSwap’s profits in future. And the more profit we generate — the more new developments we can afford!
3.New utility options for MILK2 and SHAKE
We are receiving a large number of interesting proposals from you about how MILK2 and SHAKE can be utilized as game currency or animation / discount tools. We’re carefully saving all these ideas and plan to look into the possibility of applying them.
We have only outlined some of the areas and potential prospects for synergy between the two projects but we have no doubt that interaction between various ecosystem elements will become one of the key provisions for the development of all our projects.

- On January 10th 2022, theSIDUS HEROES team will be launching the closed beta version for NFT Genesis collection holders.
- On January 23rd 2022, holders of the Genesis and Academy collection NFTs will receive access to the public beta version of the game.
We are fully aware of the resources that may be required to create projects like SIDUS, therefore we want to focus on those features that will benefit the projects in our ecosystem, as well as other projects of the same level that we plan to work with as the company grows.
New features within the SpaceSwap project
During the AMA session, Dan also mentioned new features and the current state of ongoing projects. SpaceSwap is continuing to grow and strengthening its major technological solutions — a result of the team’s hard work on the ecosystem. The features you see did not just appear overnight, they were based on market demand and our users’ opinions.
1) We are developing a SaaS based on Shadow 2.0 technology, where each project will be able to create its own pool to incentivize users.
It’s a kind of marketplace based on the Shadow technology, with a wide variety of configurations and it will be released in stages, starting with a simple version and graduating to more complex ones.
The creation of such pools will include a fee in MILK2 tokens (and/or SHAKE / stablecoins).
2) We are also preparing a new NFT collection with extra features. We will develop this feature in stages, including stages for creating breeding contracts and our own mini-games, where MILK2 and SHAKE tokens will be the game currencies.
Development details will be subject to DAO voting and active community participation. We also plan to release regular development updates.
In the near future, we are expecting some material describing 2 new concepts and we will need your active participation.
And of course we’re still working on…
- The development of our own in-house exchange, which we consider to be a solid long-term goal. Such a development demands time and we plan to begin it in Q1, 2022.
- Development of the SpaceSwap Starter project on three main blockchain networks: Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain and Avalanche. The versions will become more complex and acquire additional functions, like multiplicators for all SHAKE holders. In the near future users will also see a completely new form of crowd-sale event — IGO, Initial Game Offering. This trendy feature is in its infant stage, but we know it will be a big thing soon. We are already negotiating with some new promising projects that could become SpaceSwap Starter clients in the future.
- We are also working on our White Label product for sale.
- And the team is researching the Cardano and Solana networks for potential development options.
SpaceLend freeze
We invested a lot of company resources into this project and definitely achieved some significant results, but the level of a team and a project is not only measurable by its level of development, but also through a sober risk assessment.
Since the public test of the SpaceLend project, we have tried several different coding solutions and used third-party services but unfortunately, none of these options suit us in terms of safety.
Lending protocols are one of the most popular targets for hackers. We have vivid examples of large platforms (like Cream: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-10-27/defi-protocol-cream-finance-loses-130-million-in-latest-hack; and Compound: https://www.coindesk.com/business/2021/10/03/66m-in-tokens-added-to-recently-hacked-still-vulnerable-compound-contract/), suffering losses that are shared between users and platform owners.
Despite the fact that we were getting to the final stage of product development, our management team, including Dan Khomenko and the technical leads, made a decision to freeze the development of the SpaceLend protocol with a view to defrosting it, but no sooner than the implementation of the DEX protocol.
